Cherry sauce

Ingredients
1 can or 500gm fresh cherries or pitted red cherries
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup water


Method
Wash and deseed the cherries. Add cherries and little bit of water in a blender and blend them. After few minutes,strain the juice with a strainer.
In a bowl mix cornstarch with lemon juice and whisk it well until it becomes smooth.
In a saucepan add granulated sugar, cherry juice and water. Bring it to a boil over medium heat and keep stirring.Cook until the liquid has thickened.
Serve warm

Sakharamba

It is a sweet sauce of Alphonso mangoes.

Ingredients
6 Alphonso mangoes (peeled and chopped)
Granulated sugar 1 bowl


Method
In a pan add chopped mangoes and sugar on low heat until the mixture reaches the honey like consistency.
Cool and store it in a refrigerator.

Raw mango

Raw mango is an unripened fruit of summer. It is also  used in many ways like for making mango pickes, jams, squash, dried powders,sauces, juices. It is also used in ayurvedic medicines.
It is full of health properties,which are as follows:-)


1. Keeps dehydration away :-) Raw mango sprinkled with salt helps to restore minerals and salts lost due to sweat.


2. Good for liver:-) It increase the secretion of  bile acid which is good for healthy liver.


3. Blood disorder :-) It has a ability to cure blood disorder because it is full of vitamin c and helps information of new cells.


4. Health stroke:-) It guards from the excessive effects of high temperature.


5. Morning sickness:-) Eating raw mango with salt is helpful in curing morning sickness.



6. Looks younger:-) It is full of beta carotene ,antioxidants and vitamin A ,which is good for skin.



7.Scurvy:-) It is full of vitamin C, which helps in curing scury.

Cranberry juice

It is a versatile fruit and it have a tremendous amount of antioxidants properties as compared to other fruits and vegetables.
It is helpful in curing gum diseases,respiratory disorders,cancer and kidney stones. It is also helpful in curing scurvy and it is full of vitamin c.


Ingredients
1 lb cranberries
1 quart water
Sugar as per taste


Method
Wash the cranberries. In a large saucepan combine cranberries and water . Bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat and cook until berries burst. Strain the juice and add sugar. Refrigerate the juice before serving.


Caution:-) Too much of cranberry juice is also harmful for health.

Momo

Tofu And Mushroom Momo

Ingredients
100 gm shredded tofu
100gm chopped mushroom (dried and soaked in vinegar for 15 minutes)
50 gm onions
1 gm ginger
1 gm garlic
1 gm coriander
Pinch of MSG
1 tablespoon salt

Method
Mix all the ingredients with salt and MSG.
Use the mixture and filling of momo.
After shaping the momos,steam for 10-12 minutes.

Dough
100 gm refined flour
Water
Pinch of salt

Mix the flour, water,and salt.
Knead the flour into smooth dough.
Let it stand for 30 minutes.

Corn Momo

Ingredients
150 gm parboiled corn
50 gm carrot
1/2 tablespoon ginger (finely chopped)
1/2 tablespoon garlic (finely chopped)
1 tablespoon salt
A pinch of MSG

Method
Mix all the ingredients in the bowl and set aside.
Use the mixture as the filling of momo.
After shaping the momo.
Steam for 10-12 minutes.

Tips
You can add spinach, paneer,beans.

When rolling out the dough,make the edges thinner than the centre, it will make the momos sealing easier.

Cover the momos with the damp cloth. This prevents them from drying out.

Put a cabbage leaf in the centre. Momos won't stick in the centre.

You can use wheat flour and roasted barley flour also.

Don't steam the leftover momos, fry them instead.

For frying
Add two tablespoon of oil. Fry the steamed momos and gently toss till golden brown.

Ginger sauce

Ingredients
15 gm shredded ginger
4 tablespoon vinegar
6 tablespoon sugar syrup

Method
Mix all the ingredients well and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.

Garlic sauce

Ingredients
1 tablespoon refined oil
2 gm chopped garlic
3 gm chopped onions
1 tablespoon red chilli paste
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
Corn flour paste( 1 tablespoon cornflour and water)
Pinch of MSG
1 tablespoon salt

Method
Saute the garlic,ginger and onions
Add chilli paste,soy sauce, vinegar, tomato ketchup and stir fry for a minute.
Add the salt and MSG
Add cornflour paste to thicken the sauce.

Pineapple sauce

Hii friends, today I will post about pineapple sauce. It is a tangy fruit sauce.
Ingredients
2 tablespoon olive oil
2 onion finely chopped
1 tablespoon mustard seeds
1 tablespoon turmeric
1 red chilli deseeded and finely chopped
250 gm brown sugar
2 pineapple peeled,cored and finely chopped into small chunk.
Small piece of ginger (thumb sized),finely chopped
175 ml cider vinegar


Method
Heat oil in a pan.Add mustard seeds in it and wait until it becomes red.Add red chilli and ginger in it.
After few seconds add onion and stir for few minutes,until it becomes golden brown.Add pineapple pieces,brown sugar, cider vinegar, salt and ginger in it. Simmer the gas.

Bring it to the boil and stir frequently until it becomes golden and thick.Allow it to cool down.Pour it in an air tight container.

Hii friends today , i am going to share barbecue sauce


BARBECUE SAUCE
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp vinegar
2 tsp tomato ketchup
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt to taste

Method
In a saucepan combine all the ingredients and boil them.Reduce the heat to simmer .Keep stirring frequently.After 1-2 minutes remove from the heat.

Barbecue  sauce is ready.

Hi friends, today i am going to share bread chila recipe.

BREAD CHILLA
Ingredients
2 slices of bread
1 cup besan (gram flour)
salt to taste
red chilli powder to taste
1/2 teaspoon haldi(turmeric)
1/2 teaspoon jeera powder (cumin)
1/2 cucumber , finely chopped
1/2 tomato, finely chopped
1/2 onion, finely chopped
oil/ghee for cooking
water

Method
Combine besan,red chilli powder,salt,jeera powder,cucumber,onion,tomato in a bowl. Add water to make a thin batter.

Heat oil in the pan.Toast the bread from both the sides.Now apply the batter on the bread and wait until it become crisp and golden brown.Now apply it on another side and wait until it is golden brown and crispy from both the sides.

Serve hot.

Zucchini balls


Ingredients
200 gm zucchini
50 gm boiled and mashed potatoes
50 gm chopped tomatoes
50 gm chopped onion
10 gm chopped parsley
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
10 gm cornflour
200 gm bread crumbs
100 gm sesame seeds
Oil for deep frying

Method
Grate zucchini. Place grated zucchini in the bowl and sprinkle some salt and keep it aside for 10 minutes.After 10 minutes squeeze excess water out of the zucchini and keep it aside.Saute onions and tomatoes on the gas for 2 minutes and remove from the heat.

Mix zucchini, saute onions and tomatoes, mashed potatoes and herbs in it,add some water.Make small balls of this batter.Coat these balls with sesame seeds and bread crumbs.Deep fry these balls until they become golden brown.
Serve hot.


YIELD 10 BALLS
SERVINGS  2
PREPARATION TIME 45 MINUTES
COOKING TIME 20 MINUTES
TIP
You can make these balls in air fryer also.

APPLESAUCE

Hii friends, today i am going to share the recipe of apple sauce, which is very delicious and good for health.

APPLE SAUCE
Ingredients
7-10 apples
3-4 tablespoon of lemon juice
2 cups of water
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

Method
Peel and cut the apple into fine pieces and make sure to remove the coreAdd the apples,lemon juice and cinnamon powder and 2 cups of water in the pot and keep it on the medium heat and cover the pot.Keep stirring for a few minutes.Add more water if required.

When the apples become soft and tender, Pour it in the food processor for smooth consistency.
Serve warm.

CUPCAKE, NO BAKE

Ingredients

1. Ten digestive biscuits
2. Two tablespoon drinking chocolate powder
3. A bar of chocolate
4. 50 grams of butter
5.1 glass of milk
6. Few nuts

Method
Crush the biscuits and nuts.Add drinking chocolate powder and mix well. Add butter and fold the mixture.Put milk as required and mix the mixture until it gets firm.

Spoon the mixture into the cup cases and refrigerate for two hours.Melt your chocolate to decorate.
Easy cupcakes are ready.
